Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Line Cook in Brisbane, CA to prepare and cook food to the hotel’s standards, under the supervision of the Executive Chef. The role covers breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and room service, with a focus on consistency and safety.

Requirements include an associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent, 6 months to 1 year of related experience, Safe Serve certification, and the ability to work in a high-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in culinary arts or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation methods including pantry items, sandwiches, salads, and desserts.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions with consistent quality.
• Experience in high-paced kitchen environments.
• SAF EVE/Food Handler’s certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all ingredients for the shift before service begins, ensuring readiness.
• Operates the cooking station efficiently and safely, following hotel standards.
• Prepares food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and adheres to food sanitation standards at all times.
• Prepares pantry items, sandwiches, salads and desserts with focus on quality.
• Inspects food visually before sending from the kitchen.
