Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory is hiring a Line Cook to join our high-volume kitchen team. You will prepare recipes from scratch, execute precise cooking techniques, and maintain high standards of quality and presentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a full-service restaurant is ideal.
• Station experience across Flat Top, Grill, Broil, Fry, Pasta, Sauté, Salad, Pizza, Pantry, Appetizer, Oven or Prep preferred.
• Familiarity with cooking techniques such as roasting, grilling, sautéing or scratch cooking is a plus.
• Proficient with kitchen tools and equipment; understands back-of-house operations.
• Able to deliver accurate orders with consistency.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes efficiently using various cooking methods and culinary techniques.
• Read and follow recipes with accurate measurements and weights.
• Demonstrate strong knife skills including chopping, dicing, and slicing.
• Ensure order accuracy through mise en place, portioning, and cooking to correct temperatures.
• Present dishes with plating, presentation, and garnishing.
• Support opening and closing duties including station setup, breakdown, FIFO stocking, cleanliness and organization.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards; prevent cross-contamination and respect food allergy awareness.
• Work well under pressure, multitask with speed and urgency.
• Support teamwork through clear, effective communication and following instructions.
