Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience in a full-service restaurant is ideal.
• Station experience preferred: Flat Top, Grill, Broil, Fry, Pasta, Sauté, Salad, Pizza, Pantry, Appetizer, Oven or Prep.
• Familiarity with cooking techniques such as roasting, grilling, sautéing, or scratch cooking.
• Proficient with kitchen tools and equipment, understanding back-of-house operations.
• Ability to deliver accurate orders with consistency.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and industry standards.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic; punctual team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes efficiently using various cooking methods and culinary techniques.
• Read and follow recipes with accurate measurements for consistency.
• Demonstrate strong knife skills: chopping, dicing, slicing.
• Ensure order accuracy via mise en place, portions, and temps.
• Plate attractively with presentation and garnishing.
• Support opening/closing duties: station setup, stocking, cleanliness.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention.
• Work well under pressure, multitask with speed and urgency.
• Communicate clearly to support teamwork and high standards.
