Job summary

Luminary Hotel & Co. is seeking a Line Cook to support multiple F&B outlets. You will prep ingredients, follow the chef’s recipes, and work to a high standard of presentation. A clean work environment and teamwork are essential in this role.

Role requires standing long hours, knife safety, and the ability to work under pressure while delivering quality meals and following safety procedures. This is a full-time position with restaurant staff benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ restaurant experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for long hours.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients daily for upcoming specials and regular menu.
• Assist with recipes for each day and understand restaurant recipes.
• Maintain a clean kitchen environment: equipment, floors, walls, coolers, freezers.
• Support inventory and communicate when items need reordering.
• Wash dishes and return pots/pans for cleaning.
• Plate dishes to chef specifications and assist with plate ups.
