Job summary

Smith & Wollensky at SW Atlantic Wharf in Boston, MA is seeking an entry-level Line Cook to prepare and cook food items in accordance with our quality and service standards. You will coordinate orders to ensure timely and accurate cooking and demonstrate strong knowledge of all menu items and ingredients used in recipes while maintaining proper food temperatures.

The Line Cook must follow all safety and sanitation standards and report directly to the Manager on Duty.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role (high-volume or fine dining preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Weekend availability required.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to read kitchen tickets.
• Ability to stand for a full shift and navigate stairs.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds.
• Working knowledge of basic kitchen cooking and prepping terminology.
• Basic knife skills.

Responsibilities
