The role requires strict adherence to recipes, portion control, food safety, and collaboration with the kitchen staff. Flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Experience cooking with standardized recipes.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience handling sharp knives and various kitchen tools safely.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Adhere to portion control and food preparation standards.
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper cooking and storage temperatures.
• Report issues with food quality or delays to kitchen coordinator or chef.
• Keep inventory levels and alert low stock situations.
• Ensure all dishes from the station meet quality expectations.
• Follow procedures for handling food allergies and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with kitchen team and maintain positive relationships.
• Undertake additional tasks to support efficient kitchen operation.
