Job summary

Miskiri Hospitality Group is seeking dependable Line Cooks to join a growing culinary team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will help prepare high-quality dishes, maintain sanitation, and support the kitchen during busy service periods.

The ideal candidate has prior line cook or prep cook experience, strong teamwork, and a commitment to consistent food quality. Evening and weekend availability is required to help us serve guests across shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Able to follow recipes and standardized procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Culinary training is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and quality expectations.
• Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
• Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion consistency.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow kitchen team members during service.
• Assist with prep work, receiving deliveries, and inventory as needed.
• Clean kitchen equipment and complete opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Work efficiently during high volume meal periods while maintaining attention to detail.
