Job summary

Common Bond Hotel Collection in Louisville, KY is seeking line and prep cooks for Paseo, the restaurant at the Myriad Hotel. You will prepare soups, salads, and sauces, plate and garnish dishes, and cook items under the head chef’s guidance in a fast-paced kitchen.

You’ll attend pre-shift meetings, stock stations, and maintain cleanliness across work areas. Prior food service experience and knowledge of health and safety regulations are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in related food service positions required.
• Knowledge of food health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares soups, salads, and sauces as instructed by the head chef.
• Plates and garnishes meal items following the instructions provided by the head chef.
• Cooks menu items following instruction provided by the head chef.
• Attends pre-shift meeting to review/communicate information regarding service, VIPs, and Specials.
• Ensures that all cooking stations are adequately stocked with the necessary meal ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Ensures that all cooking stations and kitchen surfaces are cleaned and disinfected before and after each shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
