Job summary

Trapper’s Sushi is seeking a dependable Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen in a team-focused environment. You will prepare menu items, follow recipes, and maintain a clean workstation while upholding food safety standards and efficient service flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year line cook or kitchen experience; training available for the right candidate.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in a high-volume environment.
• Strong time-management and attention to detail.
• Valid Washington State Food Worker Card required before first day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation per regulations.
• Follow FIFO procedures for labeling, storage, and rotation.
• Support efficient kitchen operations during peak service with BOH teammates.
• Assist with food preparation, restocking, and opening/closing duties.
• Communicate clearly with BOH and FOH to ensure smooth service flow.
• Monitor food quality and report issues to kitchen leadership.
