Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, market, catering, or professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong knife skills and basic cooking techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions consistently.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Willingness to learn and follow strict food-allergy and cross-contact protocols.
• ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience with Italian or Mediterranean cuisine is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
• Handle daily prep, including vegetables, proteins, sauces, and other ingredients.
• Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portioning.
• Keep workstation clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen-handling procedures.
• Properly label, date, rotate, and store ingredients.
• Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen inventory.
• Work collaboratively with chefs, kitchen staff, and management.
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities as assigned.
