Panineria, an Italian restaurant in New York, is seeking an energetic Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare ingredients, cook menu items per our recipes, and maintain a clean, efficient station during busy service hours.

Requirements include 1+ year line cook experience, strong knife skills and ability to follow recipes under pressure. We offer $17–$20 hourly pay, full-time schedules, shift meals, employee discounts, and opportunities for growth. Immediate start.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of line cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and prep ingredients before service.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure timely output and consistent quality.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, storage, and rotation (FIFO).
• Execute orders accurately and perform well under pressure during peak rush hours.
• Assist with breakdown, deep cleaning, and restocking at the end of the shift.
