Job summary

Maverick Hotel and Restaurants is seeking a Full Time Line Cook to prepare hot and cold foods for restaurant, room service, banquets, and catering at the Maverick Wolfeboro Inn. The role supports the Chef and BOH supervisors to uphold Maverick standards.

The position requires at least one year of kitchen/prep experience (or culinary school) and strong customer service skills, with a focus on teamwork, safety, and high-quality presentation.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• At least one year kitchen/prep experience or one year of culinary school required.
• Customer Service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily production of restaurant(s), room service and outlet menus.
• Maintains and completes daily prep and cleaning lists and tasks as assigned by BOH Supervisors and Chefs.
• Ensures all requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated areas.
• Properly label and date all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
• Apply basic knife skills required for preparation of hot and cold foods.
• Produce recipes efficiently and consistently.
• Is a team player who maintains a great attitude and works well with fellow teammates.
• Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all menu items and ingredients, location amenities as well as any special events.
• Interacts with location staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments when necessary.
• Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Maverick Hotel and Restaurant dress code standards.
• Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times.
