Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a dependable Line Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. You will prepare and execute quality meals, maintain a clean workstation, and work as part of a high‑standard kitchen during busy service.

The ideal candidate has past line cook experience, understands basic cooking techniques, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment while following safety guidelines. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of basic cooking techniques, kitchen tools, and safety standards.
• Ability to follow instructions, multi‑task, and stay organized in a high‑volume kitchen.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 40+ lbs.
• Current Arizona Food Handler’s Card required (or ability to obtain).
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and quality expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service.
• Assist with food prep, stocking, and restocking as needed.
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner during busy service periods.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front‑of‑house teams.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assist with daily kitchen cleaning tasks, deep cleaning, and closing procedures.
• Support kitchen team with banquet and event prep as needed.
• Report low stock levels or equipment issues to supervisors.
