Job summary

Five Iron Golf is seeking a Line Cook/Dishwasher in New York to support kitchen operations and ensure quality dishes. You will prepare diverse menu items, maintain a clean, stocked line, and collaborate with front-of-house to deliver great guest experiences.

Pay is $19-21 per hour for part-time, non-exempt status with nights and weekends required. Candidates must meet health and safety training credentials and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a kitchen environment (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and with a kitchen team.
• Credentials in health and safety training; local requirements met.

Responsibilities

• Open/close kitchen when needed.
• Prepare varied appetizers/entrees and maintain stocked line.
• Wash, sanitize pans, utensils, and dishes.
• Clean and maintain the dish machine and area.
• Load/unload dishes and organize supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping/mopping and waste disposal.
• Coordinate food prep with front-of-house for service excellence.
• Deliver consistently high levels of customer service to guests.
