Job summary

Five Iron Golf Kirkland LLC is seeking a Line Cook/The Dishwasher to support the kitchen team, prepare and deliver flavorful dishes, and keep the line stocked. You will open/close the kitchen and work with front-of-house to ensure excellent service.

Requirements include at least 1 year in a kitchen, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, flexible hours, and health/safety certifications. Pay is $22-$24 per hour. This is a part-time role with nights and weekends required, in Kirkland, WA.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to work independently and with a kitchen team, dividing responsibilities and monitoring staff.
• Credentials in health and safety training.
• Certification that meets local requirements.
• Must be flexible with hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during normal operations.
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest.

Responsibilities

• Open/close kitchen when needed.
• Prepare a variety of different appetizers/entrees for guests and ensure food preparation to keep the kitchen and line fully stocked.
• Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine.
• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine; unload and organize them properly.
• Empty trash containers regularly and maintain a clean work area by sweeping and mopping as needed.
• Perform additional cleaning duties and clean food prep stations and equipment as requested.
• Control and direct the food preparation process while collaborating with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service.
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest.
