Job summary

Cru Hospitality Group (CHG) is seeking a Line Cook in Tampa to prepare and plate delicious dishes while executing the kitchen vision. You will work under the Head Chef and General Manager to uphold CHG standards and provide guests with an outstanding dining experience.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong cooking skills, a passion for hospitality, and teamwork. You will maintain a clean workstation, follow recipes precisely, and continuously learn about current food trends and best practices

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cooking methods and food handling.
• Solid understanding of restaurant kitchen operations and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work as part of a cohesive kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Kitchen team to properly prepare menu items in a timely manner.
• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items ahead of time.
• Adhere to all standards and recipes. Read and follow recipes properly.
• Coordinate food timing with other members of the line.
• Maintain a clean and organized station at all times.
• Maintain accurate food par levels behind the line.
• Perform opening and closing side work.
• Stock all food products in their correct location.
• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts.
• Communicate all 86’d items before they are 86’d.
