Daily Provisions in Manhattan West, New York, NY, is seeking a Line Cook with a passion for food, strong technique, and a readiness to lead in the kitchen. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a line cook role, holds a NYC Food Handlers License, and can stand for long periods while lifting up to 50 lbs.

You’ll work on a team dedicated to Enlightened Hospitality, maintaining high standards, prepping, cooking, and supporting service with precision and care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Line Cook position in a similar environment.
• NYC Food Handlers License required.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality
• Prepare, cook, and portion food for service
• Maintain and use kitchen equipment (fryers, blenders, mixers, rotisserie)
• Ensure prep is well-seasoned and cooked to standard by required time
• Follow recipes, techniques, and build sheets as directed by leaders
• Label and date mise en place; proper product storage
• Keep knives and tools sharp and station organized
• Maintain clean, compliant dish station and assist with deep cleaning
• Support team during peak times or special events
• Adhere to health standards and keep space tidy
