Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a driven culinary staff member to prepare daily items for guests and hotel clients. You will handle pantry and fry station duties, ensuring high-quality plates and a safe, sanitary kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include following recipes and portions, prepping ahead, rotating stock, and assisting with buffet setup while maintaining proper temperatures and minimizing waste.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Culinary certificate or degree preferred.
• 3–6 months in a food/beverage environment or establishment.
• Basic understanding of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare culinary items for guests, pantry and fry stations.
• Follow recipes, production standards and portion controls.
• Date and rotate perishables; manage shelf life per SOP.
• Assist with buffet setup and stock controls; notify shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards in all kitchen areas.
