Job summary

Shaner Group in Beaufort, NC is seeking a line cook to join our kitchen team. Starting pay is $19 per hour and you should be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

You will plan, prep, set up and provide quality service across outlets, maintain sanitation and safe food handling, and assist in budgets and standards. A high school diploma and food safety certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a line cook or relevant role.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary and food safety cert preferred.
• Sanitation principles and food preparation knowledge.
• Good communication with guests and staff.
• Physical stamina for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Ensure that all food and beverage products are prepared and served according to standards.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and in excellent working condition.
• Abide by health, safety, and labor regulations in the kitchen.
