The Line Cook at Boca West Country Club plays a crucial role in our culinary team, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to deliver a memorable dining experience to our members and guests.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification preferred.
• Previous line cook or similar role experience in a restaurant or country club setting.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely preparation and health standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, cooking equipment, and storage areas.
• Assist with menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends.
• Monitor inventory and ingredient levels, communicating any shortages to the kitchen manager or executive chef.
• Follow food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Support other kitchen staff in various culinary tasks as needed, including prep, plating, and cleaning.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance cooking skills and culinary knowledge.
