Job summary

Doubletree-By-Hilton-Davenport is seeking a Line Cook to join the kitchen team in Davenport, IA. You will work under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to prepare and plate dishes with quality and consistency, while upholding safety standards.

The role requires 1+ year of culinary experience and a High School diploma. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to deliver guest-ready meals on schedule in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of culinary experience.
• High School diploma or equivalency education certificate required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in primary language used in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistently high quality by following recipes and production standards.
• Follow all food safety standards by date marking, rotation, and proper temperature control.
• Initiate preparation based on anticipated needs and assist in food control to reduce waste.
• Operate food preparation equipment such as fryers, broilers, stoves, ovens, mixers, and slicers.
• Maintain clean and safe workstation and assist team to meet service times.
