Job summary

Rhythm City Casino in Davenport, IA seeks a line cook with established food production experience. You will operate kitchen equipment and follow recipes to ensure consistent quality for all outlets, and assist other kitchen team members with food production and preparation.

You will maintain cleanliness, monitor food presentation and temperatures, and adhere to health department standards. The role includes side work and reporting maintenance issues, with scheduling to include holidays, nights

Qualifications

• Previous cook/culinary experience or education

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and menu to ensure consistency of product to the guest.
• Work with staff to cook, prepare, dish-up, and assemble food for all outlets.
• Adhere to control procedure for food costs and quantity.
• Maintain food presentation, temperature, quantity, consistency, and cleanliness meeting health standards.
• Perform basic cooking functions while providing a fun experience in guest view.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, sweep and mop floors, wash tables and walls, remove grease and trash, and clean trash cans.
• Restock of food and supplies as side work.
• Report maintenance issues or defective equipment to Kitchen Supervisor immediately.
