Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards.
• Begin items that are prepared ahead of time, ensuring not to over-prepare estimated needs.
• Date all food containers and rotate per company standards, keeping perishables at proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use, determine preparation needs, freezer pull and line setup.
• Return unused items to storage and date perishables.
• Assist in plans to control food cost, waste, loss and usage per standards.
• Operate and clean kitchen tools and equipment.
• Follow safety rules, PPE use, MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
