The role requires 1+ year of line cook or prep cook experience, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and strong teamwork and communication skills to operate within a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 years’ restaurant experience or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a line cook and/or prep cook.

Aufgaben

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruit and vegetables.
• Weigh, measure and mix ingredients.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards and checklist.
• Prepare cold foods and operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Test foods to determine doneness and monitor quality.
• Set-up and break down station and serve food in proper portions.
• Maintain clean kitchen area, sanitize tools and surfaces.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards to the manager.
