Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Line Cook to assist the restaurant Chef with prep and completion of meals. You will help deliver high-quality, flavorful dishes that meet our standards and timing, contributing to a memorable guest experience.

You will work closely with the kitchen team, follow recipes, and maintain equipment cleanliness and safety while adhering to health regulations and quality controls.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related progressive experience in culinary field.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Must read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Knowledge of equipment to be operated as listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to recipes, portioning, cooking, timing, serving, and presentation standards.
• Maintain kitchen equipment cleanliness and operate within culinary preventive maintenance programs.
• Comply with all health, safety and labor regulations at federal, state, county and municipal levels.
