Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Line Cook for our Main Kitchen to assist the Chef in preparing high-quality dishes for resort and banquet services. You will work with a culinary team to deliver consistent, flavorful meals and uphold kitchen standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of progressive culinary experience or culinary schooling, English communication proficiency, and ServSafe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of progressive culinary experience or culinary graduate
• State or Local health certification; ServSafe certification is a plus
• English communication proficiency; bilingual preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food and beverage products are prepared and served according to recipes, portions, cooking, timing and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of kitchen equipment per maintenance programs
• Comply with health, safety and labor regulations applicable to kitchen areas and guests
