Job summary

Kalahari Resorts LLC is seeking a Line Cook for the Double Cut Steakhouse in Round Rock, TX. You will assist the restaurant Chef with the preparation and completion of food items, ensuring consistency and quality to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

As part of the kitchen team, you will follow recipes, maintain cleanliness, and comply with health and safety regulations. English communication is required; ServSafe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related progressive culinary experience or as a culinary graduate.
• State/local food handling certification may be required; ServSafe is a plus.
• Knowledge of listed kitchen equipment and safety standards.
• English communication, reading and writing skills; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete food items as directed by the chef following recipes, portions and standards.
• Keep equipment and workstation clean; follow maintenance and safety protocols.
• Comply with all health, safety and labor regulations for kitchen areas.
