Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Line Cook to assist our restaurant Chef in preparing and completing food items, ensuring quality and consistency.

You will work with the leadership team to deliver memorable dining experiences, follow safety standards, and maintain kitchen cleanliness while using listed equipment. Prior culinary education or recent graduates welcomed; ServSafe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related progressive experience in a culinary setting; hotel/restaurant experience preferred.
• State or Local food handling certification may be required; ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of equipment listed in the job posting and ability to operate safely.
• Must communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food and beverage products are prepared and served according to recipes, portions, timing and presentation standards.
• Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition through inspection and preventive maintenance.
• Comply with health, safety and labor regulations applicable to kitchen areas and guests.
