Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Line Cook to join our restaurant kitchen team. We value passionate, dependable individuals who can work across shifts, prepare and cook high-quality dishes, and contribute to a collaborative kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining station organization, adhering to safety standards, and supporting the culinary team to deliver timely, delicious meals in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant/food/concessions outlet production kitchen is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
• Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and proper food safety procedures.
• Set up and maintain an organized, well-stocked workstation throughout each shift.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure food is prepared accurately and served in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and temperature-control procedures while helping maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
