Responsibilities

• Set up stations and collect all necessary mise en place for service.
• Weigh and measure ingredients for cooking.
• Prepare a variety of foods including meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables and salads.
• Prepare sauces and garnishes for allocated station.
• Ensure proper food storage and dating per safety procedures.
• Inform chef in advance of likely shortages.
• Maintain correct food temperatures and monitor quality.
• Taste all items for quality before serving.
• Operate and maintain kitchen appliances safely.
