Job summary

Elmer's Restaurants is seeking a line cook to help delight guests by preparing menu entrees with exact recipe, presentation, and timing standards. You will stock and prep stations, cook to order, and ensure quality and sanitation in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler’s Card.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to follow recipes, specs and ticket times.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen with supervision as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock assigned work stations.
• Prepares food according to company specifications.
• Cook orders to recipe and guest preferences.
• Maintain high quality and proper presentation within ticket times.
• Follow manager instructions and keep work areas sanitary.
• Clean and maintain prep counters, equipment, grills and ovens.
• Test and monitor equipment temperatures and rotate stock.
• Complete side work and extra projects as assigned.
