• Culinary degree preferred but not required.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30–50 pounds.

• Proficiency in baking, food preparation, grilling, kitchen equipment, time management, and food safety & sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in a high-volume kitchen and assist the meal program.

Job Description Summary: Responsible for providing a supportive role to kitchen staff in the preparation of meals and ingredients and support the company's meal program.

Responsibilities

• Cooking Experience: Experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook is essential with high volume and bulk cooking experience.
• Professional Kitchen Environment: Experience working in a busy, fast‑paced kitchen is highly preferred.
• Proficient Cooking Methods: Mastery of sautéing, grilling, baking, knife skills, and food preparation.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a team and communicate clearly.
• Organizational & Time‑Management: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage time during peak hours, remain calm and perform tasks accurately under pressure.
• Food Safety & Sanitation: Thorough understanding of food safety rules, proper storage, and sanitation regulations.
• Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with common kitchen equipment such as blenders, food processors, mixers, ovens, etc.

Compensation

The anticipated hourly compensation range is 15.00 – 29.00 USD. Final pay will be determined based on qualifications, education, experience, and location and may change over time.
