Qualifications

• At least 2 years of verifiable work experience in a professional kitchen.
• Culinary degree preferred but not required.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30–50 pounds.
• Flexibility to bend, stretch, and adapt throughout a shift.
• Proficiency in baking, food preparation, grilling, kitchen equipment, time management, and food safety & sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in a high-volume kitchen and assist the meal program.
• Work in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Master sautéing, grilling, baking, knife skills, and food prep.
• Collaborate with team and communicate clearly.
• Maintain organization and time management during peak hours.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper storage.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment (blenders, processors, mixers, ovens).
