S&C Electric Company is seeking a Food Service - Line Cook to support its two cafeterias operated by S&C employees. The role focuses on delivering meals and supplies, maintaining sanitation, and supporting efficient cafeteria operations.

The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and meeting daily deadlines. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with 1–3 years of kitchen cooking experience and the ability to obtain a food safety certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of cooking experience in a kitchen.
• Ability to read and understand menus, packing lists, and notes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and/or supplies to the Building 6 Cafeteria and meeting rooms, and return/clean supplies on time.
• Wash dishes weighing 5–10 lbs.
• Stock deliveries in Building 3 Cafeteria storage and cooler areas.
• Mop floors and clean freezers; learn inventory recording; provide support services as required.
• Operate cash register or assist with food preparation as needed.
• Lift up to 40 lbs; stand, bend, push, pull, and walk for shifts.
