• Perform miscellaneous tasks such as mopping the floor and cleaning the freezer.
• Learn how to record inventory.
• Handle other duties as assigned such as operating the cash register.
• Lift up to 40 lbs and maintain a consistent work pace.

Join Our Team as a Food Service - Line Cook!

Are you passionate about Food Service? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our Food Service function. As part of the Food Service department, you will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. The selected individual will be responsible for sanitation work throughout both cafeterias and will be trained in all required responsibilities.

Part Time Hours

• Monday and Wednesdays 2:00pm - 6:00pm
• Tuesday and Thursday 2:00pm -10:30pm

Compensation

The estimated hourly base pay rate for this position is $18.50. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual short-term incentive bonus, subject to eligibility criteria.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food & supplies to Building 6 Cafeteria and meeting rooms and return/clean supplies at the appropriate time using appropriate tools/personnel carrier.
• Handle and wash dishes ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 10 lbs.
• Stock deliveries in Building 3 Cafeteria storage and cooler areas.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks such as mopping the floor and cleaning the freezer.
• Learn how to record inventory.
• Perform supporting services as required.
• Handle other duties as assigned such as operating the cash register or food preparation.
• Lift (up to 40 lbs), stand, bend, push, pull, and walk as necessary.

Education

High school diploma or GED required.

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Ability to become a certified driver for cafeteria vehicles (training provided on premises).
• Ability to meet daily deadlines while maintaining teamwork.
• Ability to follow specific verbal instructions and procedures.
