Job summary

StepStone Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team. The role requires maintaining sanitation standards and executing menu items under the Executive Chef’s direction, with duties spanning breakfast and dinner services.

You will assist with banquet preparation, supervise dishwashers, and ensure adherence to recipes while supporting a high-performing team in a hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High school education and relevant training and experience preferred.
• CPR and first aid training preferred.
• Additional language ability preferred.
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and sanitation standards.
• Prepare sauces and all dishes for breakfast and dinner menus under direction.
• Open kitchen and close kitchen in absence of supervisors.
• Adhere to all prepared written recipes for all menu items.
• Report out of stock items to the supervisor.
• Supervise and assist dishwashers and pantry personnel.
• Prepare all dressings and cold sauces and all salads.
• Assist with banquet preparation.
