Job summary

Kessler Collection seeks a skilled Cook to prepare items across Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets, adhering to standardized recipes and high quality. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and cost control while supporting all kitchen stations as needed.

The role requires standing for long periods, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility for long hours in a fast-paced hotel environment. Prior culinary experience is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related field preferred.
• Culinary experience required.
• Flexibility and long hours may be required.
• Medium work: lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Prepare and display buffet food items according to hotel standards.
• Prepare all foods following standard recipes and production charts.
• Ensure safe handling and sanitation in kitchen and work areas.
• Support any kitchen position as needed by the Chef.
• Follow Health Department and company regulations regarding safety and storage.
• Assist in storage and rotation of food items per procedures.
• Sign keys out and back in under supervision as needed.
