Job summary

Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort in Marathon, Florida is seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen during busy service periods.

The ideal candidate has previous restaurant or resort kitchen experience, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering great food and supporting the kitchen team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Line Cook or similar role.
• Experience in restaurant, hotel, or resort kitchen preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain assigned line or prep station for lunch and dinner service.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure food is cooked to order with consistent presentation and portioning.
• Prepare ingredients and assist with daily food production and prep.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory organization and reducing food waste.
• Support team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations during busy shifts.
