Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Miami Brickell South is seeking a motivated line cook to support daily kitchen operations on the morning and evening shifts. You will requisition and prep menu items, produce orders per specs, and help ensure smooth service with the front desk and banquet staff.

This role requires standing, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, knowledge of health and sanitation standards, and a willingness to work as part of a dynamic hotel kitchen team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of health/sanitation standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Opens kitchen in morning and signs out keys at Front Desk.
• Requisitions and preps menu items according to specs.
• Produces orders for customers per spec sheets.
• Preps items for Banquet or specials.
• Maintains kitchen and station in sanitary condition.
• Checks out with Executive/Sous Chef before leaving.
• Sets up station with necessary items to produce menu items per shift.
• Requisitions items from purchasing before end of shift.
• Notifies supervisors of problems (86 items, production, personnel).
• Closes kitchen and signs in keys at Front Desk.
