Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Hotel is seeking a professional Line Cook to prepare food to exact chef specifications and to set up stations for the menu. The successful candidate will assist the executive and sous chefs with daily tasks and contribute to customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

You will be responsible for setting up and stocking food items, preparing ingredients, cooking with various methods, maintaining sanitation, and performing inventory checks.

Qualifications

• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
• Cook food items by grilling, frying, sauting, and other cooking methods to recipes and standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
• Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
