Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living is hiring Line Cooks to join our on-site dining venues, including Fireside Restaurant & Potomac Cafe, Windsor Restaurant & Hilltop Table, Seasons Restaurant & Wye Oak Bistro, and Overlook Restaurant & Blue Heron Pub.

You will prepare and cook menu items from recipes, execute cook-to-order meals, keep a clean workstation, and work alongside fellow cooks and culinary leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of cook-to-order experience.
• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items using proper techniques, recipes, and food safety standards
• Execute cook-to-order meals with consistent quality, portioning, and presentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Work side-by-side with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and culinary leadership during service
• Contribute to a dining experience that keeps residents coming back
