Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living seeks an experienced Sous Chef with strong culinary skills and a focus on teamwork and leadership. You will contribute to Signature Dining Programs featuring à la minute cooking and chef-inspired dishes in state-of-the-art kitchens.

Responsibilities include supervising culinary staff, managing daily production, ensuring timely resident meals, and maintaining food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-service culinary experience.
• 6+ months supervisory or coaching experience.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work in hot/cold kitchen environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervises scheduling, training, and discipline of culinary and utility staff; oversees culinary functions in the Chef’s absence.
• Manages daily kitchen production and timely resident meals.
• Directs preparation and service of all menu items with recipe adherence and food safety.
