Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Woodleigh Chase in Fairfax, Virginia is seeking a Line Cook to join a vibrant dining team. You will contribute to Signature Dining Programs with à la minute cooking and chef-inspired dishes, maintaining high standards in portioning, plating, and safety.

The role offers hourly compensation starting at $22 and up to $27 per hour, depending on experience, with weekend availability required and bi-weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of cook-to-order experience.
• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers

Responsibilities

• Consistently prepare all meals following proper safety and cooking techniques.
• Ensure accurate portioning, plating, temperature, and presentation of meals.
• Utilize culinary skills to create high-quality dishes that enhance resident satisfaction.
• Keep the kitchen and workstation clean and sanitized at all times

Join our team as a Line Cook if you’re passionate about great food, teamwork, and have culinary experience. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our innovative Signature Dining Programs, engaging in à la minute cooking and crafting chef-inspired dishes.

Compensation: Starting at $22 - Max at $27, Per hour. Based on experience, paid Bi-Weekly!

Schedule: Must have Weekend Availability, No Late Hours!
