Maman in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Line Cook who loves food, coffee, and fast-paced service. You will prepare and cook items to maman’s recipes, maintain quality and presentation, and support both BOH and FOH teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Ideal candidates have prior line cook or prep kitchen experience in a bakery, café, or casual dining setting, with a strong sense of urgency, basic safety knowledge, and the ability to follow recipes and portion guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook, prep cook, or kitchen experience (café, bakery, or casual dining preferred).
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen safety protocols.
• Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and operational procedures.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong sense of urgency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with maman’s recipe, portioning, and service standards.
• Assist with daily prep, including chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently.
• Monitor food levels and restock stations as needed throughout service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards and complete line checks.
• Label, date, and store food items properly to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries as needed.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food production during service periods.
• Support FOH team when required to maintain smooth operations.
