Job summary

Maman, a French bakery, café and lifestyle brand, is seeking a Line Cook to join its fast‑paced kitchen. You will prepare and cook high‑quality items, follow maman’s recipes, and help maintain food safety and presentation standards.

You will support both BOH and FOH teams to deliver a warm guest experience. We value teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays in a lively bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience in café, bakery or casual dining.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen safety.
• Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and operational procedures.
• Strong time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to maman’s recipes, portions and service standards.
• Assist with daily prep and station setup to ensure efficiency.
• Operate ovens, grills, mixers, slicers and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and comply with hygiene standards.
• Communicate issues to Kitchen Leader to maintain quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with FOH to support smooth operations and guest experience.
