Job summary

World Cafe Live is seeking a full-time line cook to join our Back of House team in Philadelphia’s two distinct spaces. You will work under the Sous Chefs with support from the Director of Food & Beverage to prepare, plate, and execute menu items for a la carte service and private events.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in high-volume hospitality, can stand 8 hours and lift 50 lbs, and brings reliability and a love for live music.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in high-volume restaurant service.
• Must be able to stand 8 hours and lift 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to Philadelphia.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.
• Appreciation for independent, small business and live music.

Responsibilities

• Prepare station for full service per event needs.
• Meet service standards for the best guest experience.
• Execute items as trained in line with recipes.
• Break down, clean, and sanitize station after service.
• Stay informed on current menu and beverage details.
• Maintain ServSafe certification and safety standards.
• Support peers and management to maintain a safe, positive work environment.
