Job summary

World Cafe Live in Philadelphia is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to lead a dedicated team in two venues, The Lounge and The Music Hall, handling both casual and catered events. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, enforce standards, and collaborate on feature menu items while maintaining budgetary goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience as a Sous Chef.
• Minimum of three years of catering experience.
• Ability to read Event Orders and prepare catered events.
• Maintain ServSafe certification and health standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small dedicated team to meet weekly kitchen needs.
• Oversee both a la carte service and event catering execution.
• Ensure standards and procedures issued by the Executive Chef are followed.
• Develop skill sets across stations and participate in menu development.
• Attend weekly events meetings and manage inventory and budgets.
