Job summary

CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa in Carefree, AZ is seeking a Line Cook for the AM shift. This full-time role pays $22.00 to $24.00 hourly and requires 3–5 years of line cook experience, with willingness to work weekends/holidays and stand for long periods.

IDEAL CANDIDATES

This is Regular Full Time position. Pay starting at $22+ DOE

As a Line Cook you will be responsible for:

• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive and cleaning maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Completes meal preparation by grilling, sauteing, roasting, frying, and broiling ingredients; verifying doneness and taste; assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients.
• Presents meals by placing and arranging hot and cold elements using plates, dishes, bowls, and baskets.
• Controls costs by adhering to recipes; following preparation standards.
• Maintains a sanitary kitchen by adhering to state and local sanitation, storage, and refrigeration requirements and codes; cleaning equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Three - five years’ experience as Line Cook
• Previous hotel/resort experience preferred
• Willing and able to work all shifts including weekends/holidays
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
