Job summary

CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa in Carefree, AZ, is hiring for a Full Time Host/ess. You will warmly welcome guests, support dining services across venues, and manage reservations and floor flow to ensure a flawless guest experience. Availability includes weekends and holidays as scheduling requires.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of Host/ess or related F&B experience, familiarity with hotel/resort environments, reliable transportation, and a passion for health and wellness at a premier resort.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience as Host/ess, Server Assistant or related Food & Beverage experience.
• Previous hotel/resort experience preferred.
• Willing and able to work all shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Current Maricopa County Food Handlers Card required.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Knowledge/passion in Health & Wellness.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome and fond farewell to all guests.
• Support all functions in the restaurants and other guest dining areas.
• Oversee reservations, floor flow, walk-in guests, floor plans, menus and other primary functions.
• Act as an extension of the Server to ensure the guest experience is flawless.

IDEAL CANDIDATES

We are seeking passionate, service-oriented, positive and hard-working individuals with a love for health and wellness, and an excitement for hospitality.

Availability all days, including weekends and holidays, is required for scheduling purposes between these times.

As a Host/ess you will be responsible for:
