CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa in Carefree, AZ is seeking a Regular Full Time Prep Cook to join our culinary team. You will follow brand standards, prepare ingredients, and help deliver high-quality dishes in a wellness-focused setting.

Experience in fast-paced kitchens, knowledge of food safety, and a passion for hospitality are valued. The role includes a shift meal, benefits, and opportunities to grow within CIVANA.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a prep cook or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
• Food handler certification or ability to obtain one before starting.

Responsibilities

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for food preparation.
• Prepare ingredients and dishes according to menu specifications and timing standards.
• Maintain consistency in food preparation and presentation in alignment with brand standards.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper inventory rotation (FIFO).
• Keep workstations clean and organized throughout shifts.
• Collaborate with chefs and cooks to complete meal preparation on time.
• Adhere to portion controls and minimize food waste.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

IDEAL CANDIDATES

This is Regular Full Time position. Pay range is $22 - $24/hour depending on experience.
